6U Atoms Program

Our 6U program is a great way to get your kids out on the ice to learn the fundamentals of hockey and see if hockey is going to be a great fit for them. We encourage families who have skating or hockey experience to help the coaches on the ice to ensure that all these kids are able to get quality ice time.

We highly recommend that all first time skaters/hockey players take advantage of the MAC's Learn to Skate program.

Players 4-6 years old when the season starts.

Players register in August/September and season begins in September, ending in February.

Practices are held at the Harry J. McDonald Memorial Center.

Teams will have approximately 30-40 practices, held primarily on weekends, possibly one weekday.

Cost varies year to year depending on many factors. The anticipated Registration fee for the upcoming season is $295 for 20 hours of ice time. This does not include jersey cost.

An MHA practice jersey can be purchased online. Your Team Manager will reach out for number preference.

Jerseys are not required.
