6U Atoms Program
Our 6U program is a great way to get your kids out on the ice to learn the fundamentals of hockey and see if hockey is going to be a great fit for them. We encourage families who have skating or hockey experience to help the coaches on the ice to ensure that all these kids are able to get quality ice time.
We highly recommend that all first time skaters/hockey players take advantage of the MAC's Learn to Skate program.
Ages
Players 4-6 years old when the season starts.
When
Players register in August/September and season begins in September, ending in February.
Where
Practices are held at the Harry J. McDonald Memorial Center.
Practices
Teams will have approximately 30-40 practices held during the weekend.
If scheduling allows, there will be 2 jamborees, one at mid-point and one near the end.
Costs
Cost varies year to year depending on many factors. The anticipated Registration fee for the upcoming season is $295 for 30-40 practices. This does not include jersey cost.
Jerseys
MHA team jerseys are not required at this level. If interested in ordering an MHA kit, home and away jerseys and socks, your Team Manager will verify player numbers and schedule a time for sizing and ordering.

First practice is September 15 at 2:45pm.
